Howdy Folks

Sandy and I want to thank you for taking the time to check out our new website. Here you will find products that we use and can recommend with confidence to you. I started in the equine world at an age so young I can’t remember my first ride on a horse. I do, however, remember my first ride on a mule when I was fourteen. I grew up in California when livestock of various kinds were a common sight, and stood where houses and industrial districts are today. Along the way I have owned many good horses and mules. I have worked as a dude wrangler, ranch day worker, full time cowboy, owned a western wear and tack store, boarding stable, boot and saddle repair shop, and livestock trailer dealership.

Out of necessity I learned a little about packing and worked for two first class horse trainers. At one time I utilized both horses and mules, but for the last sixteen years, have used mules exclusively to trail ride, and cowboy with.

Sandy and I have been down a lot of trails together over the last thirty years. Sandy grew up in Tucson AZ and rode her horse as a young girl in the Rillito River area that is now all residential and business areas. Sandy has been a registered nurse for almost thirty years and retired from nursing about two years ago.

Along the way we have learned a lot of practical knowledge about mules. In an effort to share what we have learned with others, we started Three Bells Mules. In order to maintain an open and hopefully interesting dialogue, I started writing monthly articles for Western Mule Magazine. Eventually we started offering mule related gift items and tack, some of which we manufacture. As a result, we have heard from mule owners all over the country and always take the time to discuss their problems and triumphs with them. If it’s a problem and we can’t help, we can recommend someone in the mule world who can. So, sit back and browse our website and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have, or if you just want to talk mules, give us a shout.
